Purpose of role

Responsible for all marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image for MG Germany.

Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role

  • Design, implement and facilitate new strategic vision and powerful brand strategies.
  • Manage marketing and sales professionals inspire all team members to reach the common goals and targets.
  • Fomulate and control annual marketing budget.
  • Discover and implement effective marketing, social media and advertising Channels for marketing and sale of MG.
  • Be the last point of contact with MG deliverables before they are published/distributed ensuring all formatting, aesthetics and content are in‐line with MG standards.
  • Continually monitors competitor activity including, but not limited to: product line strategy, social media activity, and earned media activity.
  • Utilize organizational and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines, and manage the team effectively.

Experience & Educational background & Expertise

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial and sales in automotive industry highly preferred.
  • More than 8 years of management experience.
  • Have German skill on a native level in written and oral. Have a proficient level of English.
  • Able to work independently: self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team builder and leader.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Have a German driving license.
  • Based in Munich, Germany.
